Miley Cyrus taking friends abroad Miley Cyrus is taking her friends abroad to celebrate her 18th birthday.

The 'Hannah Montana’ star plans to whisk 10 of her closest pals away on an exotic beach holiday when she reaches the landmark age on November 23.

Discussing her plans for the occasion, she said: 'I hope I can just have a frickin’ break. Because I haven’t had time, even a week to chill. So I’m probably just going to go to the beach or something. I’ll take about 10 of my friends with me and hang out with the people I never really get to see. A lot of my friends, they work, and I’m in the business too so I’ll make sure we carve out some time so we can relax.

'You’ve got to get out of California generally, you’ve got to go to a different country. I like to travel, so I don’t really vacation in the states. I’m there all the time, I live in California. So I don’t want California to be my vacation.'

Britney 'unlikely' to regain control of her affairs Britney Spears is 'unlikely' to regain control of her affairs in the near future.

The 28-year-old singer - whose father Jamie Spears and lawyer Andrew Wallet were made co-conservators of her personal and professional affairs after her public breakdown in 2008 - is due to have a conservatorship status hearing today (03.06.10) but is not expected that the judge will change the ruling.

A source told RadarOnline.com: 'Britney won't be in court for the hearing. It seems highly unlikely that the conservatorship will end by the end of summer.

'Britney’s just not ready, yet. She has her good days and bad days. Britney has complex issues on a personal and professional level, and that is the reason the conservatorship is still in place.'

The elusive Eminem spoke to Skyrock Radio in Paris over the weekend and offered a tiny peek at what he has in store for his upcoming Recovery album.

While most of the interview consisted of Em cracking jokes with the French DJs, he did briefly touch on hooking up with the incarcerated Lil Wayne on "No Love," as well as Pink on "Won't Back Down" and Rihanna on "Love the Way You Lie."

"I've always respected what Wayne does, and Wayne, to me, is definitely one of the greatest in the game right now," he said of Weezy, who is in the midst of a yearlong prison stretch on gun charges. "As far as the songs with Pink and Rihanna ... when I did the song that I did with Pink, I laid my parts first and kind of heard her on the record and felt that she would smash this record. And the other one I did with Rihanna is one of those tracks that I felt like only she could pull it off, only she could do it."

Paul McCartney says it was a 'blessing' The Beatles never reformed Sir Paul McCartney says it was a 'blessing' The Beatles never reformed.

The musician – who quit the Fab Four in 1970 – admits the possibility of him, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr reuniting was often discussed but never happened, and Paul thinks it was for the best.

He said: 'There was a bit of talk of The Beatles at certain points. What used to happen was three of us would fancy it and then maybe George or John or I wouldn’t. In a way it was a blessing. We’d done it, why spoil it? Whether it’s god given or not those four people was a pretty good mix.'
